Microsoft has integrated Microsoft 365 Copilot into your Windows file management. Now due late August to mid-November 2025.
Details
This update enables you to summarise documents, generate FAQs, compare files, and ask questions about your OneDrive content directly in the OneDrive activity centre and from File Explorer.
You can use the OneDrive activity centre to access Copilot actions by selecting a file and clicking the vertical ellipsis. Actions include summarising documents, generating FAQs, and asking questions:

Within Windows File Explorer, you can perform Copilot actions by selecting a file, right-clicking to open the context menu, navigating to the OneDrive drop-down menu, and choosing a Copilot action within the secondary context menu. Summarise files, create FAQs, compare files, and ask questions:
