What is it?
Microsoft Teams Premium is a paid tier of Teams announced around the 12th of October 2022 at the time of the Microsoft Ignite conference.
When will this happen?
February 2022. “Features will begin to roll out in December 2022 as a part of Teams Premium preview, with general availability of Teams Premium in February 2023. Intelligent recap features will begin rolling out in the first half of 2023“.
How much will it cost?
USD10 per user per month – to be confirmed along with regional pricing.
Which existing features are moving to Teams Premium?
- Live translation of captions – available to all until 60 days after Teams Premium General availability.
- Custom together mode scenes – available to all until 30 days after Teams Premium General availability.
- Timeline markers in Teams meetings recordings (join/leave meetings) – available to all until 30 days after Teams Premium General availability.
- Virtual Appointments – available to all until 30 days after Teams Premium General availability.
- SMS notifications
- Organizational analytics in Admin Centre
- Scheduled queue view
