Short Version
Real-time voice is coming to M365 Copilot Chat and M365 Copilot, offering a great alternative to typing-based interactions. Now due from early September 2025 for mobile, due in desktop and the web from December 2025 to January 2026.

Details
This update will enable you to interact with Copilot using your voice while being able to interrupt or redirect the conversation at any time.

You will see a voice chat icon in the bottom-right corner of the input box when using M365 Copilot. Selecting this icon will start your voice conversation with Copilot.

Web, Windows and Mac: 


This feature is on by default, so everyone with a Copilot Licence should see it.
