What is Copilot?

I’ll let Copilot answer this one: Copilot for the enterprise is a suite of AI-powered tools that help you work smarter, faster, and more creatively. It includes Microsoft Copilot, an AI assistant that can chat with you, answer your questions, and generate content for you, as well as integrations with Microsoft 365 apps such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Loop, and more. Copilot for the enterprise is designed to enhance your productivity, amplify your creativity, and ensure responsible and secure AI.

What can Copilot do?

Here’s a nice example from Microsoft: “With natural language prompts like “Tell my team how we updated the product strategy,” Copilot can generate a status update based on the morning’s meetings, emails and chat threads”.

Copilot can help you with various tasks, such as creating documents, writing emails, summarising texts, finding information, analysing data, generating insights, or creating code. You can access Copilot from anywhere using your work account, and chat with it using natural language. You can also use Copilot’s integrations with Microsoft 365 apps to enhance your workflows and collaboration. Copilot protects your data securely and responsibly and follows Microsoft’s AI principles. Copilot also provides citations and sources for its outputs.
