TL;DR:
Praise in Microsoft Teams is great for showing your appreciation of colleagues. With updates coming soon, praises received will be highlighted on a user’s profile card in Teams and Outlook. ROLLOUT NOT PROCEEDING.
Details:
When you receive praise, the title and note will be visible on your profile card in Teams and Outlook, but only to people in your organisation who you have emailed, chatted, or met with in the past year. You will also be able to view their praise details.
Feeling modest? You can go to settings in the Viva Insights app in Teams and switch the praise visibility toggle off to disable praise highlights from showing:
