TL;DR:
OneDrive is getting an updated file sharing experience that appears when you share files in Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, SharePoint, Stream, OneNote, Planner and other Microsoft 365 apps…the updated sharing dialogue should provide a simpler look and feel. Now due mid-July late to late August 2023.
Details:
The scope of the share is shown in the bottom left of the dialogue box and can be modified via the settings gear in the top right corner. The copy link section will return a quick ‘success toast’ when the link successfully copied to clipboard.
